إعداد الطالبات: سيرين، دعاء وخضراء عنبوسي
شارك طلاب القاسمي في مشروع "نموذج الامم المتحدة " (Model United Nations) والمتمثل في مؤتمر "HaiMUN" الذي أقيم في جامعة حيفا، حيث استمعوا إلى كلمات ترحيبية من قبل عميد الطلبة بروفيسور الحنان الكساندر الذي رحب بجميع الطلاب القادمين الى جامعة حيفا وخص بالذكر طلاب القاسمي. وكذلك استمع الطلاب الى كلمة ترحيبية من السيد بان كي مون، أمين عام الامم المتحدة الذي شجع الطلاب المشاركين في هذا المشروع وعبر عن مدى اهميته ، وانه مصدر الهام للامم المتحدة، كما وقد صرح انه اشترك بمثل هذا المشروع في صغره .
في بداية المؤتمر تم تقسيم الطلاب في لجان مختلفة، وكان لطلاب القاسمي حضور مميز اذ ابدوا آرائهم وناقشوا وسر الجميع بسماعهم واهتموا لوجهات نظرهم وسعدوا بالتعرف عليهم.
عند انتهاء المؤتمر حصل طلاب القاسمي على شهادة شكر وتقدير على مشاركتهم في هذا المؤتمر. ومن الجدير بالذكر ان طلاب القاسمي كانوا طلاب المرحلة الثانوية الوحيدين الذين شاركوا في هذا المؤتمر حيث ان باقي المشتركين كانوا طلاب جامعات. كما وعبر الطلاب أمير ابو مخ، خضرة عنبوسي، دعاء عنبوسي، سلام قعدان، رجاء عنبوسي، نور ابو مخ وسيرين عنبوسي عن مدى استمتاعهم في هذا المؤتمر، كما تقدموا بالشكر الجزيل للمعلمة دانية مصاروة على متابعتها وارشادها لهذا المشروع .
The MUN team enjoyed the conference and thinks that this conference is a really great experience .
Seren Anbossi: "This wasn't the first time that I visit University of Haifa, but it's my first conference in this university . I learned a lot from this amazing experience. It was a great opportunity to meet people from Israel and abroad. We had the chance to meet and talk to many new students and share our opinions on various global issues with them . In addition, we spoke English all the time and that was a very rewarding experience. In short, I enjoyed the HaiMUN conference , and I would really like to try participate in other conferences . I recommend you all to join the MUN club. I really had so much fun J ."
Khadra Anabosy: "Although I participated as an observer (مشاهد), but I really had a great time .Because going to Haifa, seeing the breathtaking view while walking in the university and speaking English for a whole day was such an extraordinary experience. At the HaiMUN 2011 I met delegates from Israel (both Arabs and Jews). Furthermore, I met delegates from abroad and it was really fun getting to know people from different cultures and countries .In addition, this experience added to my knowledge of MUN since I had the chance to learn from University students nice tips that I can use in future conferences. In conclusion, this was an enjoyable conference and I would be happy to re-experience it again."
Duaa Anabosy : "Being in the HaiMUN was really fun, it was an amazing opportunity to develop our social skills by making new friends from different countries and cultures. I learned a lot from this incredible experience. Despite the fact that we were observes, we felt that we were part of this huge body. I will carry this unforgettable memory with me for the rest of my life! And I would really want to live this experience over again since I have indeed enjoyed every single minute of it !"
Noor Abo Mokh : “It was a great experience and I really had fun . Going to the university of Haifa and is a very important thing for us as students in a high school. Since our coming stage will be there. Moreover, this experience gave me the opportunity to practice my English language and meet new people from different countries.I hope that our school will continue providing us with the possibility to participate in such projects in the future. ”
Rajaa Anabosy: "My experience at HaiMUN was so amazing, enjoyable and unforgettable, because it was full of fun and new fantastic things. This was a great day that none of us will forget. I learned a lot of things about world politics and diplomacy and I met many people that became my friends. It was an honor to be there. I would like to thank miss. Dania for her great job. I will never ever forget this incredible day. It was an experience out of this world and I can't find enough superlatives and adjectives in order to describe to you how incredibly extraordinary this indescribable experience was. You have to live the MUN experience first hand in order to understand how great it is."
